Our small, upbeat dental practice in York, Maine is seeking a motivated and dependable certified dental assistant who enjoys being part of a team. This one doctor practice has state of the art equipment, an outstanding patient base, and a team who truly cares about their patients. The ideal candidate must be organized, flexible and have excellent communication skills and a willingness to grow their skill set. Hours: Mon TBD Tues 8-5, Weds 9-5:00, Thurs 8-5 Wages: Negotiable, based on years of experience Excellent Work Environment Responsibilities Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, anticipating needs and providing support. Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and procedures to effectively communicate with the patient. Operate scanner for accurate imaging and treatment planning. Maintain a clean and a well organized work environment following aseptic techniques. Assist with various dental procedures including prosthodontics.
