Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) - Mainer Cosmetic Dentistry - Berlin, MD

Mariner Cosmetic Dentistry is looking for a full-time dental assistant to join our team in Ocean Pines, Maryland. We are a busy, modern general and cosmetic dental practice with a supportive team and a four-day workweek. We are looking for someone dependable, organized, comfortable in a fast-paced office, and genuinely good with patients and coworkers. Schedule : Monday–Thursday, approximately 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. No regularly scheduled Fridays or weekends. Pay : Starting at $24 per hour, with the final rate based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include: Assisting with general, restorative, cosmetic, surgical and implant procedures Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining consistent room setups Taking digital radiographs and intraoral photographs Sterilizing instruments and following infection-control protocols Maintaining supplies and communicating when items need to be ordered Accurately documenting treatment and supporting an efficient clinical workflow Helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their appointments Working cooperatively with the doctors, hygienists, assistants and front-office team Qualifications: Dental assisting experience required Maryland dental radiology certification required Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable attendance and a positive, professional attitude Ability to anticipate the doctor’s needs and stay composed during busy days Willingness to help the team rather than focusing only on assigned tasks Benefits: Four-day workweek Paid time off Employee health-insurance options 401(k) with employer contribution Competitive pay in a stable, growing practice We have a close team and take our work seriously, but we also want the office to be an enjoyable place to work.
