Temporary Registered Dental Hygienist – Periodontal Office (Potential for Full Part-Time) Practice Type: Periodontal Specialty Practice Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Thursdays 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Working Interview: Wednesday 9/9/26 8:30 am - 12:00 pm 12:30 pm - 5 pm About Us We are a specialized periodontal practice focused on advanced gum care, implant maintenance, and patient education. Our team is detail-oriented, supportive, and committed to delivering exceptional periodontal treatment. We are currently seeking a temporary hygienist with the potential to transition into a full part-time position . Responsibilities Perform periodontal maintenance and scaling & root planing (SRP) Take and review digital radiographs Conduct periodontal charting and assessments Assist in diagnosing and monitoring periodontal disease Provide thorough patient education on oral hygiene and post-op care Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols Requirements Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in [CA] Current CPR/BLS certification Experience in a periodontal office or strong perio skills preferred Familiarity with periodontal charting and treatment planning Experience with [Oryx] a plus Professional, reliable, and patient-focused Laser Certified Opportunity This role begins as temporary coverage but offers a path to a permanent full-time position for the right candidate who is a strong fit for our team and patient care philosophy.
