Registered Dental Hygienist – Full-Time, On-Site | $120,000/year Location: Crescent City, California Position: Full-Time, On-Site Salary: $120,000/year About the Opportunity Crescent City is located in the northwest corner of California, offering an amazing opportunity for the outdoor enthusiast. The area is home to the Redwood State and National Forest, multiple coastline beaches, two lighthouses, surfing, camping, hiking, and fishing. Stallant Health and Wellness is a Rural Health Clinic, serving the needs of our community with medical, dental, chiropractic, and counseling services. We are expanding our dental services, and we are seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to come onsite to work with us, to further meet the needs of the patients we serve. Compensation and Benefits $120,000/year Employer-paid medical insurance for employees and eligible dependents Dental and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with 4% company match after one year and qualifying hours $50,000 employer-paid life insurance policy Paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays Company-paid professional liability coverage Relocation support available for candidates considering a move Patient Care Expectations The Dental Hygienist will provide preventive and periodontal dental care to patients of different ages and clinical needs. This is a full-time, on-site position. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dentist and dental support team to provide efficient, compassionate, and high-quality care while helping expand access to dental services for the Crescent City community. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling, and root planing Conduct oral health assessments and periodontal charting Review and document patients’ medical and dental histories Take dental radiographs as permitted Identify potential oral health concerns and communicate findings to the dentist Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, periodontal health, preventive care, and appropriate home-care techniques Administer local anesthesia and other permitted services when properly licensed and clinically appropriate Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Follow all applicable infection-control, sterilization, safety, and regulatory requirements Coordinate care with dentists, dental assistants, and other members of the clinical team Help expand access to dental hygiene services for a rural and underserved population Qualifications Active California Registered Dental Hygienist license Current Basic Life Support certification Appropriate California certifications and authorizations for assigned clinical duties Strong clinical judgment and ability to care for a varied dental patient population Excellent patient communication and education skills Willingness to relocate to practice on-site in Crescent City, California
