Dental Front Office / Patient Coordinator Hillside Dental Care | Full-Time | MondayâThursday, 6:30 AMâ3:30 PM, $28-$35/hr depending on experience Weâre Looking for Someone Exceptional Hillside Dental Care is looking for an experienced, confident, and compassionate Dental Front Office / Patient Coordinator to join our team. We are a busy, established dental practice that takes pride in providing an exceptional patient experience while maintaining a positive, professional, and supportive team environment. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, proactive, and genuinely enjoys helping people . This is not a position where you simply answer phones and check patients in. Our front office team plays a critical role in keeping the practice running smoothly, communicating treatment clearly, supporting our patients, and working closely with the clinical team. What Youâll Do Create a warm, welcoming experience for every patient Answer phones and manage patient communication with professionalism and confidence Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently Present treatment plans and help patients understand their recommended care Discuss treatment fees, insurance benefits, and financial options Follow up with patients regarding outstanding treatment and appointments Verify insurance benefits and assist with insurance-related questions Process payments and accurately manage patient accounts Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Coordinate closely with doctors, hygienists, and dental assistants Help keep the daily schedule productive, organized, and running on time Identify opportunities to improve the patient experience and office systems Handle challenges and difficult conversations calmly and professionally Contribute to a positive, respectful, team-oriented office culture The Person Weâre Looking For Will Be: Warm and personable â patients should feel comfortable talking with you Highly organized â you can manage multiple priorities without becoming overwhelmed Confident â you are comfortable discussing treatment, fees, and financial arrangements Proactive â you see what needs to be done and take care of it without being asked Detail-oriented â accuracy matters to you A strong communicator â both with patients and coworkers Dependable and accountable â your team can count on you Positive and solution-oriented â you don't bring unnecessary drama into the workplace Comfortable in a fast-paced environment â you can keep up while still providing excellent service A team player â you understand that everyone has a role in creating a great patient experience Experience Preferred: 2+ years of dental front-office experience Experience with dental insurance and benefit verification Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements Experience with dental scheduling and practice management software Experience working in a busy dental practice We are willing to consider the right candidate who may not check every box.
