Registered Dental Hygienist - Lux Dental PLLC - Davison, MI

Job Overview: Irish Road Dental, under new ownership, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. If you are passionate about oral health and dedicated to providing excellent patient care, we’d love to meet you! Duties: - Perform dental cleanings, including: prophy, periodontal maintenance, debridement, and scaling and root planing procedures. - Take dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Administer local anesthesia as directed by the dentist - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes in the electronic medical record system - Perform patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and vital signs - Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients - Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques - Utilize technology for digital impressions Skills: - Proficient in medical documentation and electronic health record systems (Epic) - Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures - Experience working with pediatric patients - Strong patient assessment skills, including the ability to recognize oral health issues and abnormalities - Solid understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions - Thorough knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic technique - Familiarity with technology for digital impressions We use Open Dental Software Bonus, holiday pay and health insurance benefits available Hours Tuesday9-5pm , Wednesdays:10am-7pm, Thursdays 9am-6pm If you are a dedicated Dental Hygienist looking for an opportunity to make a difference in patients' lives, we invite you to apply.
