Full-Time Surgical Dental Assistant – Periodontics

We are a busy periodontal practice located in the heart of downtown Menlo Park, seeking a personable and motivated Dental Surgical Assistant to join our dedicated surgical team as we are growing. This is a full-time, in-person role offering a rewarding opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Position Overview:

As a Surgical Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our doctors during procedures and patient visits. While experience in periodontics or oral surgery is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate with exisiting dental experience who demonstrates a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist periodontists during surgical procedures
• Scribe detailed notes during exams and post-operative visits
• Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment rooms
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
• Support front office operations as needed
• Utilize computer systems effectively with accurate and quick typing skills

Qualifications preferred:

• RDA License or X-ray license, Dental Assistants and passionate new graduates are highly encouraged to apply!
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical setting

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Full-time only (40 hours/week)
