Dental Assistant, Full Time/ Part Time - Chiara Dental - Tucson, AZ

We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make our dental office efficient and pleasant for patients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and perform administrative and basic dental tasks. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. Responsibilities Welcome patients Prepare patients for treatments Select and set up instruments Sterilize instruments Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks and make appliances Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental operatory clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Certificates Must have current dental radiology certificate! Any additional extended function certificates, such as coronal polishing, are a plus. Skills We can teach you most anything we need you to do. We have had good experiences in the past hiring assistants with little or no experience, right out of assisting school, and teaching them what we need them to do.
