Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in New Era, MI
We are looking for a caring, positive, patient-centered dental assistant to join our team. Job duties to include but not limited to: -Educating and preparing patients for dental treatment -Helping patients feel comfortable and providing great patient care -Collecting and recording medical histories and patient vital signs -Assisting the dentist during general practice procedures (surgery, endo, restorative, etc). -Maintain infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up procedures, and preparing materials. -Helping front desk and hygiene as needed. -Taking radiographs -Taking dental impressions -Lab work-Trim and pour diagnostic models, custom impression trays bleach trays and adjust removable prosthesis. -Managing OSHA requirements -Maintain a courteous, helpful attitude with patients and co-workers -Assist dentist in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Paid time off Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
