Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Fresno, CA
Private dental office in Fresno, CA. Looking for a Full time Registered Dental Assistant. Office Hours Monday-Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm Every other Friday: 8:30am-12:30pm The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assists the doctor in procedures Operate x-ray equipment and takes digital x-rays Prophy teeth Instructs patients on post op instructions after procedures Chart and do treatment plan with doctor Sterilizes instruments Setup and prepares rooms for treatment Sealants, if applicable Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Front office duties when needed Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: California Registered Dental Assistant License CPR/BLS certification, X-Ray Certification Coronal Polish Certification Sealant Certification, preferred Responsibilities Assist with chairside duties during dental procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques. Able to perform coronal polish and apply fluoride Radiography: able to take digital X-rays Sterilization: Clean and sterilize instruments, able to follow directions and treatment areas to prevent the spread of infection. Impressions: Take alginate impressions and pour for models. Crowns- willing to learn or know how to scan for crowns Assisting with lab tasks as needed Perform front office duties like confirming appointments, rescheduling, translating, take payments.
