Dental Assistant - S.F. Children's Dental - Redwood City, CA

Overview Hello! We are a children’s dental office located in Redwood City. We are seeking a professional, reliable, and organized Dental Assistant to join our children's dental practice and help support both front office and back office operations. Willing to train new experience employees! Our office sees approximately 10–20 children patients per day, offering a steady and manageable schedule in a supportive clinical environment. This position offers a unique schedule that may be beneficial for the right person. We are currently open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Every other week, the schedule starts earlier at 6:30 AM and ends around 2:30 PM. Requirements Needs to speak Spanish High school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of a dental assisting program. Licensure and Certifications: State dental assistant license (such as RDA where required), plus current X-Ray/Radiation Safety certification. Additional credentials like Coronal Polishing or Sealant certificates are highly preferred. Experience: One to three years of general or pediatric dental assisting experience. Soft Skills: Patience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to work well with children. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with dental software (like Dentrix) and basic understanding of HIPAA guidelines. We are a very relaxed office that loves children and hope you can join us! Thank you!
