Responsibilities Assist dentists during various procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth clinical flow. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and maintaining aseptic techniques in accordance with infection prevention management policies. Take and develop dental X-ray images using digital radiography systems such as dental x-ray units and 3D scanners, ensuring proper positioning and patient safety. Support patient management by explaining procedures, and providing compassionate care to ensure a positive patient experience. Process dental instruments through proper sterilization procedures using infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination. Collaborate with the dental team on four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency during clinical procedures. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures relevant to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and implantology. Familiarity with healthcare infection prevention and control standards including aseptic technique and infection control policies. Ability to perform dental instrument processing efficiently while adhering to sterilization protocols. Effective communication skills for interacting with patients of all ages Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and general health to assist in accurate documentation and patient education.
