Orthodontic Dental Assistant – Part-Time Lakewood Dental Arts is seeking an experienced and dependable Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. Our Orthodontic Department operates approximately 10 days per month , typically 2–3 days per week . Schedule: Wednesdays are consistent and required Additional days may fall Monday–Friday depending on the monthly orthodontic schedule Approximately 2–3 days per week / 10 days per month Qualifications: Previous orthodontic assisting experience preferred Orthodontic Assistant Permit/Certificate preferred Current California dental assisting certifications/licenses as applicable Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced orthodontic environment Must be consistently available on Wednesdays Responsibilities: Assist with bonding, debonding, adjustments, and other orthodontic procedures Take X-rays, photos, impressions, and digital scans as needed Prepare treatment rooms and maintain sterilization and infection-control standards Provide patient instructions and maintain accurate patient records Support efficient patient flow throughout the orthodontic schedule Position: Part-Time Schedule: Approximately 10 days per month / 2–3 days per week Location: Lakewood Dental Arts – Lakewood, CA If you are interested in joining our orthodontic team, please submit your resume and availability for consideration.
