We're looking for an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) who wants to be part of that. What It's Like to Be an EFDA Here We believe EFDAs should be able to actually be EFDAs . You'll work closely alongside our doctors, place restorations, assist with pediatric restorative procedures, take radiographs, educate families, and help keep the clinical day moving. But your role is bigger than a list of duties. Our EFDAs are an important part of the care team. Your clinical judgment matters. Your relationship with the child in your chair matters. Your ability to recognize when a patient needs a little more patience, humor, reassurance—or sometimes just a really good distraction—matters. And you'll never be doing it alone. Our doctors and clinical team work collaboratively. We jump in when someone needs help, communicate throughout the day, and understand that when the team works well together, our patients feel it too. We're looking for someone with: Active Ohio EFDA certification Current Ohio dental assisting credentials as required by law CPR certification Ability to take and process dental radiographs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassion, patience, and a genuine ability to connect with children and families Pediatric dental experience is a plus, but it is not required We also believe in taking care of the people who take care of our patients.
