Job Summary Southern Smile Studio is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. Position Summary The Dental Assistant will work closely with our dentist and clinical team to provide excellent patient care and support the daily operations of our dental office. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and dependable. Responsibilities Welcome and prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures Assist the dentist during restorative, preventive, and other dental procedures Digital Radiography Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Maintain infection-control and OSHA standards Take and record patient medical and dental histories Prepare dental materials and equipment for procedures Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Assist with operatory turnover and daily office organization Communicate professionally with patients and team members Help create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient Perform other clinical and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred Dental assisting certification or training preferred Current CPR/BLS certification required Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and infection-control procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to work effectively as part of a team Professional, dependable, and positive attitude Comfortable working with patients of all ages Pay: From $18.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Experience: Dental assisting: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
