We are seeking a confident, organized, and highly motivated Treatment Coordinator who excels in case acceptance, patient communication, and financial coordination. This role is essential to helping patients understand and move forward with their dental treatment. The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for presenting treatment plans, discussing financial options, and guiding patients through their care from diagnosis to completion. This role works closely with doctors, hygienists, and front office to ensure a seamless patient experience and strong production outcomes. Key Responsibilities Case Presentation & Acceptance Present treatment plans clearly and confidently Educate patients on diagnosed treatment and urgency Review insurance benefits and financial options Offer payment solutions and financing options Achieve and maintain strong case acceptance goals Patient Follow-Up (Signature Smiles Protocols) Follow 2-2-2 follow-up system for unscheduled treatment Track pending treatment daily Call, text, and email patients with outstanding treatment Reactivate overdue and incomplete treatment Maintain detailed notes on all patient communications Scheduling & Production Schedule treatment to meet daily production goals Coordinate with doctor and hygiene schedules Fill schedule gaps with diagnosed treatment Prioritize high-value and overdue cases Insurance & Financial Coordination Verify benefits and review estimates Present accurate out-of-pocket costs Collect deposits and payments Explain financing options (CareCredit, in-house, etc.) Ensure signed treatment plans and consents Team Collaboration Communicate with clinical team regarding treatment Attend morning huddles and production meetings Support office goals and performance metrics Maintain a positive and professional patient experience Requirements Minimum 2 years dental front office or treatment coordinating experience Strong knowledge of PPO/MEDI-CAL insurance and treatment planning Experience presenting large treatment plans Familiarity with Open Dental (preferred) Excellent communication and closing skills Organized, detail-oriented, and goal-driven Bilingual Spanish (preferred but not required) Compensation Hourly pay: $22â$26+ per hour (DOE) Monthly production bonuses Case acceptance bonuses Growth opportunities Schedule Full-time MondayâSaturday Ideal Candidate Confident presenter and strong closer Patient-focused and empathetic Highly organized Production-driven Team player Positive attitude Performance Expectations Maintain high case acceptance percentage Consistent follow-up on unscheduled treatment Support monthly production goals Accurate documentation and tracking Strong patient relationships Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
