Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced tools such as digital X-rays and medical imaging equipment. Diagnose dental conditions accurately utilizing comprehensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and healthcare diagnosis standards. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services including dental restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Utilize clinical expertise in procedures like dental implants, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and infection control practices to ensure safe and effective treatments. Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation in electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix while adhering to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws. Communicate clearly with patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote understanding and compliance. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to uphold the highest standards of patient safety. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques through ongoing education and professional development. Skills Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate documentation. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis procedures. Expertise in performing diverse dental procedures including root canal therapy, dental implants, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other general dentistry treatments. Excellent client communication skills to educate patients effectively about their oral health status and treatment plans. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment practicing four-handed dentistry techniques. Deep understanding of infection control standards and aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination. Familiarity with medical imaging technology for diagnostic purposes. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations along with state healthcare laws governing medical records management. Experience with dental fabrication processes for crowns or bridges is a plus. Strong commitment to patient care excellence while maintaining compliance with all legal and ethical standards. Requirements DDS or DMD degree from an accredited school. Active Colorado dental license. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Must be fully fluent in Spanish. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, dependable, and willing to contribute to a growing practice. DEA registration, if required for prescribing responsibilities. Experience Previous clinical experience is not required.
