We're Growing Our Hygiene Team in Hollywood Fl.! Are you a passionate Dental Hygienist who wants to do more than simply "clean teeth"? We are looking for a motivated, clinically focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team beginning in October . Our current hygienist works an average of three days per week , and we are looking for someone who is excited to take ownership of the hygiene department and help our patients achieve healthier smiles and improved periodontal health. We are seeking a hygienist who believes in being thorough, proactive, and committed to comprehensive periodontal care. What We Value · We are looking for a hygienist who is comfortable and confident with: · Comprehensive periodontal charting and probing at appropriate visits · Helping patients understand and improve their periodontal health · Providing local anesthetic when appropriate for periodontal maintenance and scaling and root planing procedures · Recommending appropriate adjunctive periodontal therapies, including Arestin when indicated · Using irrigation as part of periodontal treatment when clinically appropriate · Assisting with and providing thorough periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and gross debridement · Recommending fluoride treatment when appropriate · Educating patients on post-treatment care, including the appropriate use of Peridex when prescribed But just as important as clinical skills, we are looking for someone who takes responsibility and ownership of the hygiene department. We want a hygienist who will: 1. Take pride in their patients' progress 2. Help identify periodontal needs and opportunities for better care 3. Educate and motivate patients 4. Work closely with the doctor and team 5. Help maintain strong systems and standards within the hygiene department 6.
