Registered Dental Hygienist-Full-Time (Mon-Thurs) - Westport Dental office - Westport, CT

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST needed full-time for a pediatric dental office from 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday (4 days a week). Occasional Saturdays (1 per month) also available if interested (but not required) in Spring, Fall and Winter from 8:00am-1:00pm. Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings and scaling - Conduct patient assessments and oral health screenings - Provide oral hygiene instructions and educate patients on proper dental care techniques - Take dental x-rays - Maintain a clean and sterile working environment - During down time, perform dental office administrative tasks (send text reminders, verify dental insurance, recall list, answer phones, schedule patients, etc.) Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist - Proficiency with Eaglesoft (preferred but not required) - Experience working with children Skills: - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for accurate record keeping - Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in using dental instruments and equipment for patient care - Knowledge of infection control protocols and adherence to aseptic techniques We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
