Job Overview MIA Dental is looking for an experienced, organized, and motivated Dental Front Desk / Assistant Manager to join our team. We are seeking someone who provides excellent patient service while also helping maintain an efficient, productive, and well-organized dental office. This position is ideal for someone with dental front-office experience who is ready to take on additional responsibility and grow into a stronger management role. This position offers significant room for growth within MIA Dental . The selected candidate will work closely with and train directly under the Office Manager , learning not only front-desk responsibilities but also the operational and leadership side of running a successful dental practice. MIA Dental is a growing multi-location dental group , and as we continue to expand, we will need strong team members who are interested in advancing into management and leadership positions . Duties Greet patients and provide an excellent patient experience from check-in through check-out Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the daily schedule Confirm appointments and actively work to reduce cancellations and no-shows Maintain and fill the schedule to help the office meet daily production goals Present treatment plans and assist patients with scheduling recommended treatment Collect patient payments and discuss financial arrangements Verify patient information and coordinate with the insurance team when necessary Follow up with unscheduled treatment and overdue patients Monitor recalls and hygiene scheduling Help oversee daily front-office workflow and ensure tasks are completed Assist the Office Manager with team accountability, organization, and daily office operations Participate in morning huddles and help track office goals and KPIs Help resolve patient concerns professionally and promptly Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Support the manager and doctors in creating a positive, efficient, and team-oriented environment Skills Dental front-office experience preferred Experience with dental scheduling, treatment plans, insurance, and collections Strong communication and customer-service skills Organized and able to multitask in a busy dental practice Comfortable discussing treatment and finances with patients Dependable, professional, and solution-oriented Leadership mentality and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities Comfortable working with goals, reports, and performance expectations Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Experience with Open Dental is a plus If you are motivated, organized, enjoy working with patients, and are looking for more than just a front-desk position, we would love to meet you.
