We are a privately owned, upscale fee-for-service dental practice in Geneva, IL , dedicated to providing an elevated level of clinical care, service, and patient experience. Our patients expect excellence. So do we. We are seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant who understands that working in a premier dental practice is about far more than completing clinical tasks. It is about anticipation, precision, presentation, discretion, efficiency, and genuine pride in one's craft. Our ideal candidate is polished, confident, highly organized, and naturally proactive. Someone who takes ownership of their environment, anticipates the doctor's needs before being asked, and understands that every interaction and every detail contributes to the patient's experience. If you are energized by excellence, appreciate a beautiful and meticulously organized clinical environment, and take personal pride in delivering work at the highest level, we would love to meet you. The Opportunity As a Dental Assistant on our team, you will be an integral part of delivering an exceptional clinical experience—from the moment a patient enters the operatory through the completion of their visit. You will work closely with the doctor and the entire team to ensure that every procedure is seamless, efficient, precise, and patient-centered. We move with a strong sense of urgency, but never at the expense of quality. We believe speed and excellence can—and should—coexist. Your Responsibilities Assist the doctor confidently and efficiently throughout dental procedures, anticipating clinical needs and maintaining an uninterrupted workflow. Prepare and restore operatories with meticulous attention to detail , maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness, organization, and sterilization. Capture exceptional-quality 3Shape scans and diagnostic radiographs . Maintain beautifully organized, fully stocked operatories and clinical spaces, anticipating what will be needed before it is requested. Accurately document clinical notes and maintain thorough, current patient records. Help deliver a calm, polished, and exceptional patient experience while supporting a highly productive schedule. Provide gracious, professional, and personalized patient service at every point of contact. Communicate clinical information with confidence, clarity, and warmth. Assist patients with appropriate clinical questions and help them feel informed, comfortable, and cared for. Serve as a trusted liaison between the doctor and front-office team, ensuring seamless communication and continuity throughout the patient's experience. Contribute to the overall success and elevated standards of the practice. The Person We Are Looking For We are not looking for someone who simply knows how to perform the duties of a Dental Assistant. We are looking for someone who takes pride in mastering them. You are the person who notices when something is out of place and fixes it without being asked. You prepare ahead. You pay attention. You care about how things look, how things feel, and how things are done. You understand that the smallest details can make the biggest difference. Most importantly, you care. You will thrive here if you are: Highly motivated, dependable, polished, and professional. Naturally proactive and able to anticipate what the doctor and team need. Exceptionally organized and able to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture. Confident working with a wide range of dental procedures and surgeries, or eager and capable of developing those skills quickly. An excellent communicator who understands the importance of discretion, warmth, and professionalism. Team-oriented and genuinely invested in the success of those around you. Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement. Coachable, curious, and hungry to become better. Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be directed. Someone who holds themselves to a high standard—even when no one is watching. Our Standard Pride. Precision. Ownership. Excellence. We have intentionally created a practice where high standards are not simply words on a wall—they are reflected in how we care for our patients, how we care for our environment, and how we care for one another. We value people who are proud of what they do . We value someone who finishes a procedure and looks around the operatory—not because they were told to, but because they naturally want everything to be right. We value someone who welcomes feedback because they want to become exceptional at their craft. And we value teammates who understand that when everyone performs at their best, the entire patient experience becomes extraordinary.
