Job Overview Belleville Dental office seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team part time. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for use. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Manage patient flow efficiently. Manage dental supplies inventory, ordering as needed to ensure availability. Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care to patients. Skills Proficiency in general dentistry practices and procedures. Proficiency with taking dental impressions and temporary impressions Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is beneficial for managing patient interactions effectively. Strong background in dental assisting, including knowledge of dental imaging techniques. Understanding of dental terminology, documentation, and records management. Experience with Eagle soft or similar dental software systems is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and communication.
