REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT – FOUNDING TEAM Sunstone Dental | Richmond, TX Full-time | $20-$23 per hour | Starting early to mid-October About Sunstone Dental Sunstone Dental is a new, privately owned general dental practice in Richmond, TX, near Katy, FM 1093, and Grand Parkway 99. Our office heavily uses digital scanning, CBCT, laser, and 3D printing. Experience with these technologies is preferred. We will train the right person on our systems and workflow. Learn more about us at sunstonedentistry.com . About the Role We are looking for a Dental Assistant who knows how to keep the back office running smoothly. You should be comfortable working closely with the doctor and taking responsibility for your area. We want someone who notices what needs to be done and gets it done. This is NOT just a chairside assisting position. We also want someone who can become an important part of how the clinical backside of the office runs. The right person may grow into a Lead Dental Assistant, Back Office Manager, or Clinical Coordinator role. Responsibilities Provide four-handed chairside assistance for general dentistry. Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos. Take traditional and digital impressions when needed. Make Temp crown. Set up and turn over operatories. Manage sterilization and infection control. Help manage inventory and lab cases. Keep the doctor prepared throughout the day. Help with other office duties when needed. Qualifications Active Texas RDA registration required. Current CPR/BLS required. General dentistry assisting experience preferred. Must understand basic restorative AND surgical procedures. Must know how to make temporary crown. Experience with digital scanning or CBCT is a plus. Implant or cosmetic dentistry experience is a plus. Nitrous monitoring certification is a plus. Spanish or another language is a plus. Experienced RDAs are preferred. Motivated new graduates with strong fundamentals and long term commitment may also be considered. We are willing to TRAIN the right person. We are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow into more responsibility. Compensation and Growth $20–$23/hour , based on experience and qualifications. Performance bonus opportunities.
