Advanced Chairside Dental Assistant La Prada Family Dentistry is seeking a skilled and experienced dental assistant to join our clinical team. We are looking for someone who is confident working alongside the doctor, comfortable in a busy dental office, and committed to providing excellent patient care. What You'll Be Doing Provide chairside support during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before patient appointments Assist the doctor with efficient patient flow and clinical procedures Take and develop dental radiographs as permitted by Texas requirements Maintain sterilization and infection-control standards Keep operatories clean, organized, and properly stocked Help ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit Complete clinical documentation accurately and efficiently Communicate effectively with doctors, team members, and patients Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and office safety procedures Help maintain an organized and productive clinical environment What We're Looking For Active Texas RDA certification required Previous dental assisting experience required Fluent in Spanish and English Open Dental experience preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment Able to stay organized and productive while managing multiple priorities Strong chairside skills and attention to detail Dependable, punctual, and professional Positive attitude and strong team-player mindset Comfortable taking direction, receiving feedback, and adapting to the needs of the practice Patient-focused and committed to delivering a high level of service Schedule Monday–Saturday availability required This is a full-time position and is not intended for candidates seeking a part-time schedule. Saturday availability is required as part of our regular operating schedule.
