Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant specializing in Pediatric dentistry to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care by assisting the dentist during pediatric dental procedures, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for our young patients. Duties Assist the pediatric dentist during various dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, oral surgery, and endodontics Prepare treatment rooms with appropriate dental instruments, materials, and equipment, ensuring proper sterilization and infection prevention protocols are followed Coronal polishing Take digital dental radiographs , including digital imaging and 3D scans, adhering to all safety standards and HIPAA regulations Manage patient flow efficiently by greeting patients, updating medical histories, recording vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits Educate young patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures tailored to pediatric needs Support infection control practices through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures for dental instruments and equipment Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with minimum 1 year experience in pediatric dentistry preferred Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, dental terminology, and dental equipment operation Knowledge of pediatric-specific procedures, oral health education, and handling anxious young patients Strong understanding of infection prevention management, sterilization procedures, and healthcare infection control standards Ability to accurately perform X-ray procedures while maintaining safety protocols for children Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering outstanding pediatric dental care!
