Compensation: $24 - $26 hourly Responsibilities: Answer any questions the patient may have about dental hygiene, schedule appointments for patient care follow up, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patientsâ teeth and gums, after procedures Assure all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use Prepare and lay out sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials inside treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures Help dentists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off dental instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team Qualifications: Superb interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are desired Current BLS/CPR certification is required Experience with dental software, updating patient histories, and computer skills are needed Experience in dental assisting for at least six months to one year Ability to maintain a calm and friendly demeanor while assisting during dental procedures, putting patients at ease Proven track record of adhering to infection control policies and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for all Proficiency in scheduling appointments and managing patient records, ensuring seamless office operations About Company Soul Dental is a contemporary, energetic, and growing company co-founded by two female friends.
