Our orthodontic practice is searching for a dedicated Dental/Orthodontic Assistant who can assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and help the practice run efficiently. Responsibilities include assisting with basic dental procedures, taking necessary x-rays/digital scans, updating and maintaining patient records and reviewing proper care of orthodontic appliances and hygiene. Other duties include sterilization of equipment, lab work and preparing examination areas. Candidate must be reliable, friendly, team oriented and computer literate. Prior assisting experience is not necessary, we are willing to train eager candidates. Candidate must be available to work Tuesday evenings and one Saturday per month.
