Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Dentrix is highly desirable. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures. Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Take X-rays. Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients. Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Experience Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not required with a strong understanding of dental assisting practices. Familiarity with Dentrix is advantageous. Experience in pediatric dentistry or working with children is a plus.
