Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Naples, FL
Job Overview We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our friendly and fast-paced dental team. The ideal candidate should be reliable, detail-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable assisting with a variety of dental procedures. Responsibilities include: Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment before procedures Assisting dentists chairside during general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontic procedures Taking dental X-rays and using intraoral scanners while following safety and HIPAA guidelines Sterilizing instruments and maintaining proper infection-control standards Updating patient records using dental software such as Dentrix, Denticon, Eaglesoft, or similar systems Supporting patient care by explaining procedures, answering basic questions, and helping patients feel comfortable Assisting with patient flow, scheduling, and other daily clinic operations as needed Qualifications: Prior dental assisting experience is required Familiarity with dental terminology, dental equipment, X-rays, and sterilization procedures Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Denticon, or other dental software preferred Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Dental assisting certification or related training is a plus We offer continued training and growth opportunities in areas such as pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry.
