We are looking for a wonderful Dental Hygienist to join our team! We are a private owned Dental Practice that utilizes modern technology including digital radiographs, 3d scanner, and paperless technology. Software: Open Dental Job Type: Part time or Full-time Pay: $42.00 - $44.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Paid Time Off 401K Schedule: 2-3 Days a week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Certifications: Registered Dental Hygienist Must have great interpersonal skills. Position Duties - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including but not limited to teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing- Examine patient's teeth, teeth structure and strength to estimate their health condition - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health care instructions - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Open Dental - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment - Develop strategies to improve patient's confidence in the dental process and comfort in the dental office after some procedures. - Assist with calling patients for recall or helping front desk if needed Qualifications: - Valid state dental hygiene license - Current BLS certification required. - Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program - Proficiency in medical coding and experience with Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records - Ability to work well in a team environment - Great communication skills.
