Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Commack, NY
Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Digital x-rays with Dexis and Dentrix - Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Please note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not encompass all responsibilities or requirements.
