Dental Assistant - Hoek Esthetic Family Dentistry - Virginia Beach, VA

Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures - Take dental x-rays - Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment - Assist with dental lab work, including pouring and trimming models - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records Experience: - Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment - Familiarity with SoftDent or other electronic health record systems a plus - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
