We are a well-established, fast-paced dental practice in the Vienna/Tysons Corner area looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is energetic, dependable, eager to learn, and takes pride in providing excellent patient care. At least 2 years of dental assisting experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. If you have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and are motivated to learn, we would love to meet you! What You’ll Do Assist the general dentist chairside throughout a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments and materials are ready Clean and disinfect treatment rooms between patients Maintain and organize the sterilization area and properly sterilize instruments Assist with office cleaning and maintaining a clean, organized, and professional environment Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted and become X-ray certified Obtain and maintain CPR certification Provide a welcoming and professional experience for our patients Follow all infection-control and office protocols Help keep the schedule running efficiently and work closely with the entire dental team Be willing to learn new procedures, technology, and techniques What We’re Looking For 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred — but we will train the right person Someone who is a self-starter and self-learner with a genuine desire to grow Reliable and consistently on time Energetic and comfortable being on your feet throughout the workday Strong work ethic and attention to detail Positive attitude and professional demeanor Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Someone who works well with others and is a true team player Willingness to learn and take direction Comfortable working closely with the dentist and other members of the dental team Must be able to commute reliably to the Vienna/Tysons Corner area What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Excellent benefits package Supportive, team-oriented work environment Modern office with state-of-the-art technology Training and opportunities to develop your dental assisting skills Opportunities for professional growth and advancement The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who doesn't need to be asked to do everything .
