Dental Hygienist $75 - $85 per hour Dental Hygienist (Registered Dental Hygienist, RDH) Schedule: 4 days/week, Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm, NO WEEKENDS Location: Arlington, Virginia Start Date: Immediate opening available Full-time hours and benefits including, in-house dental care allowance, health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and continuing education allowance. Why Join Us: · New office with digital X-rays and CBCT technology · Competitive hourly rate · Single column with Dental Assistants to support double column schedule · Professional growth and paid development opportunities · Collaborative, results-driven team, small business focused on quality care · No evenings or weekends Key Responsibilities: · Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures · Take and develop digital X-rays · Provide nonsurgical periodontal therapy — scaling and root planing — using hand, ultrasonic, and nonsurgical laser instrumentation under the dentist’s supervision · Administer local anesthesia (Schedule VI, patients 18+) and nitrous oxide under the dentist's indirect supervision, when qualified · Co-diagnose emergency patients and maximize chair time · Follow and understand office protocols for clinical management and scheduling · Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment plans · Meet production goals while delivering excellent patient care · Manage time efficiently and provide clinical direction Requirements: · Active Virginia Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license · Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (inhalation analgesia) qualifications per 18VAC60-25-100 · Current CPR/BLS certification · Strong communication skills and positive, professional attitude · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment · Team player committed to practice success Preferred: · 2+ years experience · Oryx practice-management software experience · Laser training/certification and intraoral scanning experience · Board-approved CE for remote/general supervision Apply now to become part of a dynamic dental clinic providing inclusive superlative treatment in Arlington, VA.
