Supreme Dental Group – Suwanee, GA Full-Time | $18–$30/hour, based on experience Supreme Dental Group is looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Lead Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Suwanee, GA. This is a hands-on clinical position with additional leadership responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is not only an excellent dental assistant, but who can also help organize the clinical team, maintain high standards, and keep the back office running efficiently. Responsibilities Provide excellent chairside assistance during general and advanced dental procedures Assist with restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, root canals, extractions, implants, and other surgical procedures Take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral scans Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control protocols Help manage clinical supplies and inventory Monitor equipment and ensure operatories are properly maintained Help train and onboard new dental assistants Delegate tasks and coordinate daily responsibilities among the assisting team Help ensure rooms are turned over efficiently and providers stay on schedule Identify clinical workflow problems and help implement solutions Communicate effectively with doctors, front office, hygienists, and other team members Set a positive example for professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and patient care Qualifications Dental assisting experience required Previous lead dental assistant or supervisory experience strongly preferred Experience with surgical procedures and implant dentistry is a plus Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection-control protocols Comfortable with digital dentistry and learning new technology Strong organizational and communication skills Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and proactive Able to lead by example and hold yourself and others accountable Comfortable working in a busy, growing dental practice Second-language skills are a plus Schedule Our primary clinical schedule includes: Monday: 8:20 AM–5:00 PM Tuesday: 8:20 AM–5:00 PM Friday: 8:20 AM–5:00 PM Saturday: 8:20 AM–approximately 2:00 PM Additional Wednesday/Thursday hours may be available depending on the candidate and practice needs. Compensation $18–$30 per hour , depending on experience, clinical skills, and leadership ability. Higher compensation may be considered for an exceptional candidate with significant lead-assistant, surgical, implant, digital dentistry, or team-management experience.
