Job Overview Greenway Dental Group is looking for Dental Assistant with experienc. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, team player who will take great care of our patients. Experience in Orthodontic assisting and Dentrix knowledge is preferred. This job opportunity includes working 5 days a week, Monday - Friday from 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Perform tasks such as taking X-rays, recording vital signs, and managing medical documentation. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with dental terminology and protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure the sterilization of instruments and adherence to aseptic techniques. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the office. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for efficient record management. Support the team in administrative tasks as needed, including medical coding. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and best practices. Familiarity with medical documentation processes and medical records management. Ability to take X-rays and record vital signs accurately. Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a safe working environment. Proficiency in using dental software applications; experience with Epic is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
