Dental Assistant — Periodontal Practice McKinney, TX | $25–$31 per hour | Periodontal training available Our periodontal practice is seeking an experienced, dependable dental assistant to join our team as our longtime surgical assistant moves on. Do you have general dental assisting experience and an interest in periodontal surgery? We’re willing to train someone with strong clinical fundamentals, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Periodontal or oral surgery experience is welcome but not required. What you’ll do Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for periodontal procedures. Assist chairside during surgical and nonsurgical care. Help patients feel comfortable and reinforce the doctor’s preoperative and postoperative instructions. Process and sterilize instruments and complete operatory turnover. Obtain dental imaging within applicable training and credential requirements. Complete accurate patient chart notes for clinician review. Manage clinical inventory and order supplies. What we’re looking for An experienced dental assistant who is organized, dependable, attentive to infection control, and comfortable communicating with patients. You should enjoy taking initiative, anticipating the doctor’s needs, and keeping the clinical day running smoothly. Pay Starting pay of $25–$31 per hour , depending on experience.
