At Comfort Dental Xenia you will be a core part of the patient-care team, not a pair of extra hands in the hallway. We need a dental assistant who is organized, motivated, kind with patients and on time. About the office Comfort Dental Xenia is a general and family practice at 17 N King Street, Xenia, OH 45385. This role is 32–40 hours over three to four days a week and includes opening and closing duties. The Dental Assistant is responsible for Four-handed chairside assisting, isolation, and instrument transfer Preparing and turning over operatories Taking digital radiographs (Ohio radiographer certificate required) Coronal polishing (Ohio coronal polish certificate required) Sterilization and infection-control protocols Charting and patient education in clear, respectful language Opening and closing the office: rooms ready in the morning, sterilization and lock-up at night Helping the day stay on time in a multitasking office What you need Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer certificate (required) Ohio coronal polish certificate (required) Current BLS/CPR (required) 1+ year chairside experience preferred; we will consider a strong newer assistant CDA/CODA preferred Comfort working with children and working adults Reliable attendance on a 3–4 day, 32–40 hour week Schedule and benefits 32–40 hours over three to four days Opening and closing duties PTO and paid holidays Employee discount 401(k) with match Apply with your resume and list every Ohio certificate you hold (radiography, coronal polish, CDA/CODA, nitrous monitoring).
