Spark Pediatric Dentistry | Channahon, IL Part-Time | 2 Days Per Week Pay Based on Experience Spark Pediatric Dentistry is looking for an experienced Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing pediatric dental office in Channahon, Illinois. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, is comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment, and already has experience assisting in pediatric dentistry. This is a great opportunity for an experienced assistant looking for a consistent two-day-per-week schedule in a friendly, patient-focused practice. What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is: Experienced in pediatric dental assisting Comfortable working with children of different ages, personalities, and comfort levels Friendly, energetic, patient, and reassuring with both children and parents Confident assisting the doctor during restorative and preventive procedures Comfortable taking dental X-rays Familiar with sterilization and infection-control protocols Able to prepare and turn over treatment rooms efficiently Organized and able to anticipate the doctor's needs Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team Able to help create a positive and fun dental experience for our young patients Responsibilities Responsibilities may include: Chairside assisting during pediatric dental procedures Preparing treatment rooms and instruments Taking and processing dental radiographs Assisting with preventive and restorative treatment Sterilizing instruments and maintaining proper infection-control procedures Reviewing post-treatment instructions with parents/guardians as directed Maintaining clean, organized, and fully stocked operatories Helping children feel comfortable and safe throughout their visit Supporting the clinical team wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly Schedule Part-Time – 2 Days Per Week Channahon, IL This position is ideal for an experienced pediatric dental assistant who is looking for a consistent part-time schedule.
