Dental Assistant NEEDED! Our office is seeking for an dental assistant with experience/certification. Fast-Paced/ Friendly Dental office is seeking to fill a full-time/part-time position. The individual MUST be reliable, have a passion for dentistry, be willing to provide the best care to our patients, must be team player, positive attitude, detail-oriented, have a great organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, be able to communicate in a fast-paced environment. If this describes you then this opportunity is for YOU! Responsibilities Welcome customers into the dental office. Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort. Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed. Sterilize instruments according to regulations. Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry. Sanitize dental rooms between patients following our updated sanitizing protocols since 2020. Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked. Assist with keeping inventory of materials. Assist with cleanliness of the office overall. Skills Proven experience as dental assistant or proven general employed experience with willingness to undergo dental assistant training in a serious and responsible manner. Understanding of health & safety regulations Knowledge of Dentrix preferred Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)' If you are interested in joining an office where hard work is appreciated, we would love to hear from you.
