Position at a Glance Location: Libertyville, Illinois Practice: Privately owned dental office Schedule: Four days per week Work environment: Patient-focused, collaborative, and professional Schedule Monday: 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Wednesday: 8:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Thursday: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Friday: 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. No Tuesdays or weekends What You’ll Do You will help create a safe, efficient, and reassuring experience from room setup through treatment completion. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Prepare and turn over treatment rooms so instruments, materials, and equipment are ready for each procedure Provide efficient chairside support using four-handed dentistry techniques Welcome patients, explain each step within the scope of the role, and help them feel comfortable during visits Follow established infection-control, sterilization, and clinical safety procedures Document clinical information accurately and support complete, organized patient records Monitor and organize clinical supplies, communicating needs before shortages occur Coordinate with clinical and administrative teammates to support an on-time schedule and smooth patient flow What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Dependable attendance, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Clear, respectful communication and a patient-first approach Ability to work collaboratively in a busy clinical setting Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and follow established protocols Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check Dental assisting or other hands-on patient-care experience is welcomed Why Join Lake County Dental?
