Part-Time Orthodontic Assistant Pay: $19–$24/hour, based on dental/orthodontic experience Schedule: Tuesday: 9:30 AM–6:00 PM Wednesday: 9:30 AM–6:00 PM Friday: 9:30 AM–6:00 PM Saturday: 8:30 AM–1:00 PM (once a month) Lunch is from 1:00–2:00 PM on weekdays. Most days end at 6:00 PM, although we may occasionally finish a little earlier or stay a little later. Location: Wayne, PA About Us Orthodontics on the Line is a small, modern, growing orthodontic practice in Wayne, PA. We opened about four years ago and are looking for a friendly, dependable assistant to join our team and grow with us. We have a fun, relaxed office environment, but we also work hard and want someone who is willing to jump in wherever needed. We’re looking for a self-starter who is flexible, eager to learn, great with patients, and works well as part of a small team. Orthodontic experience is a plus, but not required. If you have dental assisting experience and are willing to learn, we’re happy to train you in orthodontics! What You’ll Be Doing Assisting the orthodontist chairside during patient care Setting up and turning over chairs between patients Sterilizing instruments and following infection control protocols Taking digital X-rays, photos, and 3D scans Educating patients on oral hygiene, appliances, elastics, and home care Keeping the clinic clean, organized, and running smoothly Helping with supplies, inventory, and other clinical tasks as needed Jumping in and helping the team wherever needed What We’re Looking For Previous dental assisting experience Current X-ray certification required Orthodontic experience is a plus, but not required Friendly and comfortable working with both children and adults Dependable and punctual Organized and detail-oriented Willing to learn, take initiative, and accept feedback Flexible and able to adapt as our practice continues to grow A team player with a positive attitude Availability for the schedule listed above Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Uniform allowance On-the-job orthodontic training Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.00–$24.00 per hour Work Location: In person If you’re looking for a smaller practice where you can learn, contribute, and become an important part of the team as we continue to grow, we’d love to hear from you!
