We're looking for a skilled and motivated Orthodontic Assistant/Technician to join our team. Job Description We are seeking a full-time Orthodontic Assistant/Technician to work chairside with our orthodontist and clinical team. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering a great patient experience from start to finish. Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist chairside during procedures, including bonding/debonding brackets, placing and adjusting wires, and placing elastics and other appliances Take and process diagnostic records, including intraoral/extraoral photos and digital scans Take and process X-rays (panoramic and cephalometric) as needed Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment instructions Maintain accurate patient charting and treatment records Set up and break down treatment stations between patients Assist with inventory management and ordering of clinical supplies Provide excellent, compassionate patient care and support a positive office culture Qualifications Prior orthodontic assistant experience preferred Dental Assistant certification and/or X-ray/radiography certification (as required by Maryland state regulations) a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Team player with a positive, patient-focused attitude Reliable and punctual What We Offer Competitive pay, based on experience Health insurance Paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays 401(k) Ongoing training and opportunities for professional growth Supportive, friendly team environment Schedule Full-time, Monday–Thursday Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to transforming smiles through innovative orthodontic care!
