Eau Claire Periodontics has a long-term opportunity for a dental assistant/referral coordinator (3-4 days per week) to add to its growing specialty dental practice. Previous dental experience is preferred. Duties include: Assist the doctor chairside during exams and surgical procedures, documentation of procedures and sterilization. Schedule and coordinate appointments for patients. Manage and maintain the appointment calendar using Dentrix software. Communicate with patients to confirm appointments. Handle patient inquiries regarding appointments, rescheduling, and cancellations. Skills needed: Knowledge of dental terminology. Proficiency in using scheduling software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and referring offices. Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position will consist of assisting the doctor chairside during exams and surgical procedures, documentation of procedures, sterilization, and taking digital radiographs.
