Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Lynn, MA
Prosthetic Associates is looking for a reliable, kind, and motivated Registered Dental Assistant to join our privately owned dental practice in Lynn, MA. This is a consistent Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM position with no Fridays and no weekends. Our office has been part of the Lynn community for decades. What Youâll Do Assist dentists during exams, restorative treatment, crown and bridge procedures, removable prosthetics, implant-related visits, emergency visits, and other general dental procedures Prepare, break down, clean, disinfect, and restock treatment rooms Seat patients and help them feel comfortable and informed Review medical history alerts and communicate concerns to the doctor Take dental radiographs as permitted by Massachusetts requirements Take impressions, scans, photos, or other records as directed Support CEREC, Primescan, XDR, DS Core/Sidexis, and Open Dental workflows Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards Track lab cases and help ensure cases are ready before appointments Support accurate clinical documentation Give post-op instructions as directed by the doctor Communicate clearly with the front desk about next appointments, lab needs, treatment timing, and patient concerns Help maintain a clean, calm, organized, and patient-ready clinical environment Who Weâre Looking For Licensed / registered dental assistant in Massachusetts Current CPR/BLS certification Radiology certification or eligibility to take radiographs in Massachusetts Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Warm and calm with patients Organized and detail-oriented Able to anticipate doctor and patient needs Comfortable with sterilization and infection-control protocols Willing to learn new systems and workflows Open Dental experience is helpful, but not required CEREC, Primescan, XDR, DS Core, or surgical/restorative experience is a plus Requirements Massachusetts Dental Assistant License / Registration CPR/BLS certification Dental radiology certification if taking X-rays OSHA and infection-control awareness Ability to work Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Prior dental assisting experience preferred Benefits Benefits may be available for eligible full-time employees, including: 401(k) Paid time off Employee dental benefits Continuing education support Supportive leadership and room for professional growth Why Join Us This is a good opportunity for an assistant who wants a consistent schedule, a professional private-practice environment, and a team that values clinical support.
