Job Summary Cross-Trained Dental Assistant / Front Office We are looking for a Part- Time experienced, dependable, and motivated Cross-Trained Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both chairside and at the front desk and is willing to step in wherever needed to keep the office running smoothly. Responsibilities - Assist the dentist with general dental procedures - Set up and break down treatment rooms - Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control protocols - Take dental X-rays - Review treatment plans with patients - Schedule and confirm appointments - Answer phones and assist patients with questions - Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility - Understand basic dental insurance and dental terminology - Collect patient payments and discuss financial arrangements - Help maintain a productive schedule - Provide excellent customer service and a positive patient experience - Assist both the clinical and administrative teams as needed Qualifications - Previous dental assisting experience required - Front-office dental experience strongly preferred - RDA certification - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Experience with dental insurance verification is a plus - Strong communication and organizational skills - Dependable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented - Comfortable multitasking in a busy dental office We are looking for someone who takes initiative, has a strong work ethic, and understands that teamwork is essential in a successful dental practice.
