We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment. Duties Assist specialists during dental procedures (General Treatment, Implant Surgeries, Braces ). Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software - Open Dental. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients. Monitor and record vital signs when necessary. Support various dental specialties including Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Orthodontics as required. Qualifications Knowledge of infection control practices in a dental setting is essential. Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy is preferred. Experience with dental software systems such as Open Dental is as plus. Previous experience in a dental assistant role or similar position is advantageous. Ability to perform basic administrative tasks, including reception duties. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
