Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Tier II San Marcos Dental and Braces The best dental assistants do more than keep up with the schedule. They anticipate what the doctor needs, understand what the patient needs, and help create a clinical experience that feels organized, confident, and well cared for. San Marcos Dental and Braces is seeking a Tier II RDA who is ready to take ownership of the operatory, support comprehensive patient care, and contribute their experience to a strong clinical team. This is a hands-on role for an RDA who can move comfortably between chairside assisting, treatment preparation, lab coordination, clinical documentation, and supporting newer assistants. Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour Schedule: Full-time, more than 30 hours per week. Flexible scheduling based on your availability. Monday through Saturday, with Saturday availability required. In this role, you will: Provide efficient chairside assistance during dental procedures Prepare operatories, instruments, materials, and treatment trays Assist with temporary crowns and bridges, crown deliveries, nightguards, bleaching, and suture removals Take diagnostic X-rays and maintain complete, accurate patient records Complete treatment documentation, lab scripts, and case tracking Reinforce treatment recommendations and help patients understand their care Support appointment scheduling, re-care coordination, and daily clinical workflow Maintain equipment, inventory, sterilization, and emergency supplies Assist with end-of-day procedures and clinical checklists Help train and support newer dental assistants
