Our patients are often considering sophisticated restorative, implant, and reconstructive treatment. The Treatment Coordinator plays a critical role in helping patients understand their proposed treatment, associated fees, financial options, and the steps necessary to move forward with confidence.

THE POSITION
The Treatment Coordinator serves as an important liaison between our doctors, patients, and clinical team.
Your primary responsibility is to help patients understand their recommended treatment and make the financial arrangements necessary to proceed with care.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Meeting personally with patients following treatment consultations
• Reviewing proposed treatment plans and associated fees in a clear, professional, and compassionate manner
• Helping patients understand the sequence and financial aspects of complex dental treatment
• Answering patient questions regarding treatment fees and financial arrangements
• Presenting financial options and available payment arrangements
• Discussing third-party financing options when appropriate
• Preparing written treatment estimates and financial agreements
• Collecting deposits and payments according to established office policies
• Establishing and documenting approved financial arrangements
• Following up with patients who are considering recommended treatment
• Maintaining organized and accurate records of treatment plans, financial arrangements, and patient communications
• Tracking outstanding treatment and helping patients take the next appropriate step toward care
• Communicating effectively with doctors and clinical team members regarding patient treatment decisions
• Coordinating treatment-related information so patients understand the sequence and expectations of their care
• Maintaining accurate patient financial information within our practice-management software
• Monitoring patient accounts and following established office financial policies
• Handling sensitive financial and personal information with professionalism and discretion
• Working collaboratively with the Appointment Coordinator and clinical team to provide a seamless patient experience from consultation through treatment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
• 3+ years of experience in a dental or specialty dental practice
• Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator, Financial Coordinator, or Patient Care Coordinator
• Experience presenting and coordinating comprehensive dental treatment
• Experience discussing treatment fees and financial arrangements with patients
• Experience following up on unscheduled or pending treatment
• Experience with larger or more complex treatment plans
• Dentrix dental software experience
• Strong computer and technology skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Experience in a prosthodontic, restorative, implant, cosmetic, or fee-for-service dental practice is especially desirable
