Looking for a skilled Dental Receptionist / Front Desk in Fremont and San Leandro, CA dental practice

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist/treatment coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations of our dental practice, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients while efficiently handling administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of dental terminology. This position is a full time , will need to work between Fremont and San Leandro. This job will need  2 Saturdays per month from 8 am-2 pm

Duties

• Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
• Schedule , confirm and reschedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar effectively.
• Answer phone calls, emails and patient inquiries promptly and professionally
• Verify insurance information before the dental appointments and assist with insurance claims processing.
• Explain treatment plans , financial options and insurance benefits to patients.
• Handle patient billing, process payments and assist with payment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Skills

• At least 1 year of experience working as a dental treatment coordinator preferred
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance patient communication but not mandatory
